A friendly reminder to my fellow voters as we prepare for the midterms.
The United States has a 40 Trillion dollar deficit that directly affects most of us with higher credit card fees, higher mortgage rates, car loans, etc.
I am wondering where that 40 trillion dollars is? Where did we spend it? Who got that money? Where is the government spending it? It is our money!
Could it be for architectural drawings, plans, a ballroom, a reflecting pond or signage for names on and off buildings? How about legal fees?
According to federal reports federal agencies paid out 128 million dollars in annual legal fees. What about school lunches?
Consider Trump’s Anti-Weaponization Fund, $1.776 billion to reimburse his supporters for their troubles. That is our tax dollars!
Any idea how much the unfinished war in Iran has cost us in our tax dollars? $43.6 billion to date!
Voters! The United States federal government spends an estimated 125 to 181 billion dollars on business subsidies and corporate welfare. How about local and state taxes paying for sports stadiums hosting millionaire players on teams owned by billionaires.
Make sense, let us take school lunches away from kids who need them!
