Wolf and fox and owl and bear and coyote were once everywhere in North America.
Vast herds of deer and antelope and buffalo and caribou and moose roamed wild.
Fur bearers including beavers and muskrats and minks and martens thrived.
All are older than humans. They hear more than humans. They move effortlessly.
Every one of them has instinctive, inherited knowledge where as humans only think.
They move in the forest. Quiet. Shadows. They perceive what humans never take in.
Magnificent. Vigilant. They interact in nature’s act of balance and sustainability.
Humans have upset this balance. They have decimated this equilibrium.
Human presence brought demise.
