My understanding of education is that it is open, unbiased, thorough and subject to debate, inquiry, investigation and tolerant of differing views.

Former PA Senator John Yudichak is now President of Luzerne County Community College.

While serving as a PA Senator, Mr. Yudichak referred to opponents of the PennEast natural gas pipeline as “environmental extremists”. That was September 27, 2021.

According to Open Secrets, Former Senator Yudichak took campaign contributions from the oil and gas industries. Records indicate that he was a promoter of natural gas technologies and tax incentives.

The first edition of the Compendium of Scientific, Medical and Media Findings Demonstrating Risks and Harms of Fracking and Associated Gas and Oil Infrastructure was published on July 10, 2014. Now in its 9th edition, it is peer reviewed studies, reports and investigations that provide evidence of the dangers of fracking.

As the President of a local institution of higher learning that offers courses on energy sources, I’m hoping that he is current on the Compendiums’s findings.
